In order to prevent a backed-up project from being fraudulent, we have come up with the solution of splitting a crowdfunding investment round into multiple stages. That way, the project owner can have access to the investments according to the stage the project is currently in. Our solution will be based on a smart contract escrow model in order to facilitate stage-based capital infusion.
